I have travelled on almost every Royal Caribbean Class of Ship – Here’s Why!

Uncovering Royal Caribbean

Some of my best holiday memories are on board Royal Caribbean and I even took my first cruise when I just turned one on board Brilliance of the Seas. Since then I have sailed to so many beautiful places on board Royal such as; Scandinavia, Bermuda, Greece the Med and the Caribbean.

My first ever cruise on Brilliance of the Seas in 2002. Two things have never changed – my love for Royal Caribbean and my love for food!

Why I choose Royal Caribbean?

I have sailed on every class of Royal Caribbean ship except the Icon Class (you can read my Dad’s blog about Icon of the Seas here – https://www.cruise365.com/news/thrills-chills-perfect-day-icon-of-the-seas-review/). As I have been on nearly every class of ship, I know a thing or two about Royal Caribbean! For me, I always get sucked back to Royal Caribbean as they offer so much. From amazing entertainment, to thrill-seeking activities and beautiful itineraries, I have always loved my Royal Caribbean cruises.

One of my recent Royal Caribbean cruises was on the Wonder of the Seas out of Barcelona, and what a treat that week was. The Wonder of the Seas is an Oasis Class ship, which is bursting with life and energy. On board there is so much to do that is included in the cruise fare. Activities such as zip-lining, waterslides, ten story high dry slides, surfing and ice-skating are all included on the Oasis Class. I have sailed on both the Wonder and it’s sister ship the Oasis and have such amazing memories on both.

However, it isn’t just the new technology why I love Royal Caribbean, it is the way I feel when I am board. A few years ago, my boyfriend and I travelled on Jewel of the Seas and both absolutely loved everything about the ship, even though it was smaller. The staff were amazing and all knew us on a first name basis, which really made the cruise for us. We also loved the Caribbean Beach Party vibes throughout the ship, which is a common theme across the Royal Caribbean fleet.

With Royal, there is so much more than the cruise fare included and this is such an important thing to consider when choosing your cruise. You have your meals included. This normally consists of the Main Dining Room, the Windjammer Café (Buffet Restaurant) and several casual dining options depending on the class of ship you are on.

Royal Caribbean designs their experience for their guests to be able to do as much or little as they want. I often end up by the pool with a Pina Colada, although I do love the adrenaline rush of the activities also.

A Royal Caribbean cruise is about escaping from reality and forgetting about the day to day problems from home.  Instead, you get to worry about which activity you will do next and which specialty restaurant you should eat at that evening (the answer is always Chop’s Grille).
